Meet Your Teacher
Alexandra Feingold is a New York native who began performing professionally in community theatre companies on Long Island at age seven. She holds a Bachelors of Arts from Binghamton University and is a graduate of New York Voice Teacher Training in Manhattan, New York. Her private voice studio, AYALA Voice, proudly boasts several students who have gone on to perform in concerts, record music, and become featured soloists in various choirs and ensembles. Her pedagogy is focused on interactive experiences that give students a strong foundation in both vocal technique and performance skills.
Alexandra is also the Choir Director at Mt. Sinai Jewish Center and Ohel. In addition to teaching, she remains a sought-after vocalist in the Jewish community. Her most recent performance includes starring as the lead role of “Margie” in Rachel’s Place’s musical “The Eccentrics.” She is the featured vocalist on the 2025 single “Imperfect Masterpiece,” and is an active session vocalist at Soundproof Studios in Manattan.
Alexandra has performed with organizations such “Thank You Hashem,” NJPAC, and Chazaq, and at a variety of venues including Citifield for the New York Mets, Tag Elementary school, Manhattan Day School, Atara Arts and Torah, Yeshiva Katana of the UWS, and Aish Kodesh. She continues to release music for women with recent singles such as “Ki Atah Imadi (2024),” “Letting Go (2024),” and “You Will Be Found (2023),” which she also performed in concert at Neve Yerushalayim (2022).
Before becoming frum, Alexandra was signed to Goldstar Talent Management and made many appearances in theatre, voiceover, and film. Some past theatrical credits include Wizard of Oz (Glinda), Into the Woods (Baker’s Wife), Alice in Wonderland (Alice), and Annie (Annie) at Broadhollow Theatre Company, Gateway Playhouse, Studio Theatre, and Theatre Three on Long Island, NY. She starred in the film “Stop Bullying” and is the Voiceover artist for “How to Learn English” (2009).
As a featured soloist for Harpur College’s Women’s Choir, TrebleMakers Acappella Group, and Hauppauge Chamber Choir, Alexandra has a diverse-array of knowledge in choral, musical theatre, and pop music. Outside of singing, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. She is currently based in Upper Manhattan, New York.
